ROCK FOR PEOPLE WELCOMES GREEN DAY, BIFFY CLYRO, ROYAL BLOOD, FALL OUT BOY, AND MANY OTHER WORLD STARS

The long-awaited biggest edition of Rock for People festival is around the corner. The four-day program from 15-18 June 2022 will welcome world music stars in the form of headliners Green Day, Biffy Clyro, Fall Out Boy, and Royal Blood, but will also bring many discoveries from the music scene. Everyone will find something to enjoy at Rock for People. Fans of moshpits will appreciate bands such as IDLES, slowthai, KennyHoopla, August Burns Red among rockstars Sum 41, Skillet, Weezer, You Me At Six, Black Veil Brides, and Don Broco. The alternative music scene represents Wolf Alice, beabadoobee, or the pop stars MØ and Two Feet. In addition to the music program, the 26th edition of the festival will offer a wide range of art and accompanying activities in the unique airport area – lectures, workshops, theatre, film screenings, sports activities, and more.

Rock for People is one of the most significant European festivals and a frequent stop of world stars during their summer tour. Fans can look forward to 9 stages with more than 100 music performances and an accompanying art program. The festival will take place in the multifunctional complex Park 360, which operates on the principles of the circular economy and uses the residual waste of the city Hradec Králové. Park 360 is in a unique industrial airport, which has eight hangars. Waste is minimized on the site, by recycling 14 types of materials. The organizers are trying to reduce the carbon footprint by using solar and other renewable sources. Last year, a hydrogen-powered stage made its debut here at Rock for People Hope festival. The campus aims to be climate neutral and energy self-sufficient by 2030.

During December 2021, the festival’s music lineup grew by the traditional 24 names, which fans gradually opened in the Advent calendar on the festival’s website. However, the overall lineup is still not complete. Over the next few months, the festival will announce dozens of new names from the international and local music scene. Daily lineups are already known, which will allow visitors to buy one-day tickets. The festival’s capacity is limited, and organizers are reporting a 90% sell-out.
